Our Services
Rev. Dr. RICHARD ZEILE is available for Sunday or other worship preaching. He can plan worship suitable for most occasions ranging from 20 minutes (or less) to 75 minutes; his message for a typical Sunday service ranges from 12 to 18 minutes. The service can be without accompaniment if needed as he can serve as song leader. If desired e printed service ordo can be provided for those attending.
Dr. Zeile is ordained in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod and is limited to worship services that conform to their standards. Practically this means that he cannot share worship leadership of a service with individuals pledged to a differing confession of faith; he can, however, preside as the sole minister of a service open to the general public. Outside of worship he can teach a Bible class or give other kinds of presentations suited to the gathering.
Suggested honorarium is $200 for the first service of the day, half again as much for additional services/classes. Transportation and lodging arrangements may be negotiated.
Dr. Zeile has experience in the political realm, having been nominated 3 times by the Michigan Republican Party to statewide office and having served on the State Board of Education in Michigan 2011-2018, the last 2 years as its Co-President. He has presented at various conferences, including Lutheran College Conferences in Minneapolis, MN, and Columbus, OH, the Making Disciples conference in St. Louis, MO, and several times at the Best Practices conference in Phoenix, AZ. Based on I & II Samuel and focusing on David, the Biblical exemplar of God’s man in the messy world of war and politics, Dr. Zeile offers insights into the nature of politics, its temptations for Christians, and the classic problems identified in political philosophy that turn up, not just in the news but in the ordinary course of life.
Suggested honorarium for the first hour is $200; each additional hour add $100. Travel & lodging negotiable.
